Is this really not a subscription?
Really. $39 is a one-time payment. There is no renewal, no annual fee, and no feature held hostage behind a higher tier. You pay once and use Tellsheet for as long as you like.
Which versions of Excel does it work with?
Tellsheet is a modern Office add-in: it works in Excel for Windows, Excel for Mac, and Excel on the web with a Microsoft 365 subscription, and in Excel 2016 or later on desktop.
Does my spreadsheet data leave my computer?
No. Every tool runs locally inside Excel. If you turn on the optional AI command bar, only the sentence you type is sent to the AI — using your own API key — and never your cell data. With AI off, Tellsheet makes no network calls with your content at all.
Can I undo a change after I’ve applied it?
Yes. Every change you apply is recorded in a built-in History panel — a running ledger kept inside the workbook. Reopen it any time to see what each tool did, and revert any step with one click to restore the original values, with a preview first. Because the history is saved in the file itself, it’s still there after you save, close, and reopen — unlike Excel’s own undo, which forgets everything once you save.
What do I need for the AI command bar?
An Anthropic API key of your own. You paste it into Tellsheet once and it is stored only on your device. Usage is billed by Anthropic to you directly, at their rates — typically fractions of a cent per command. The AI feature is entirely optional.
Can I buy for several computers or a whole team?
A single license covers one computer. Working across a desktop and a laptop, or buying for your team? Choose the Team license — 5 or more computers at $29 each — or the Business site license for up to 100, both one-time and both self-serve on this page. What if it doesn’t work for me?
You have 14 days and a no-questions-asked guarantee. Email [email protected] with your order number and we will refund you in full. Refunds are processed by Paddle and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.
Who handles my payment? Can I get an invoice?
Checkout is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your card securely, handles VAT/sales tax where applicable, and issues a proper invoice with your receipt automatically.
Do I get future updates?
Yes — updates and improvements to Tellsheet’s tools are included with your license. If we ever release a fundamentally different, separate product, that would be a separate purchase; Tellsheet itself keeps getting better for free.
